Customer Review: A classic design that performs

These are great. The are spectacular if you are a pilot. They don't fall off your nose when you look down, they always sit in the same place on your face, and they are not polarized so you see that little flash of glare that is sometimes the only sign of that other airplane nearby. These glasses are far superior to many other sunglasses for aviators, and they cost far less than most. I have 4 pairs of them, that's how much I like them.

The cons... They don't take being dropped well. You will break the plastic part along the top off if you drop them onto a hard surface. I found this out because they seem particularly prone to slipping out of a shirt pocket. Thankfully if they are in the case this seems to be a non-issue. Also they set off TSA metal detectors every single time, but you're a pilot so why don't you fly your plane and spare yourself the "services" of the Thousands Standing Around ;-) So really there are no cons if you fly right with these.
