The four zippered pockets are perfect for carrying all the stuff you need for geocaching. The smallest pouch is just the right size for carrying extra batteries for the GPS plus towelettes and assorted small flat items. The next larger pocket works well for storing an ultralight first aid kit, and mini mag light...with room to spare. The next larger, is great for log books, pens, swiss army knife and such. The large, full length pouch, stores my work gloves and a light weight poncho (I don't think that this bag is waterproof)...Plus, there are two exterior storage compartments for carrying water bottles. Donning (just pulling down on the shoulder straps) and doffing (raising the strap keepers and letting the weight of the bag make it fall down) are an absolute breeze. It's incredibly comfortable to wear. I've walked five miles and have forgotten that I was wearing it!!!! Whether you're a geocacher or just somebody who likes to take long walks in the park, forget the "over the shoulder" messenger bags that hang at your side and, not only bounce around on your hip, but also impede the swing of one arm when you're walking. With this item, both arms swing freely and let you walk in a normal stride. The bag appears to be fairly well made and .........for around twenty bucks, ......how can you go wrong?
